This concentrated Vitamin C Serum protects, hydrates, and conditions delicate or irritated skin. This product is recommended for clients that are receiving microdermabrasion, chemical peel, or laser treatments. It can also be an excellent product to be used on acne skin to help in the healing process.

Use:

Use twice daily after thorough cleansing and toning. If using Alpha or Beta Hydrox Acids or Retinol, use Complex C Serum first and let it absorb before adding other products.  Can be used under a day or night moisturizer.

Benefits:

Vitamin C fights free radical damage cuased by the harsh environmental factors.   It is also a major anti-oxidant in the body. It is well established that Vitamin C is essential for healthy skin. The Mitochondria, which is the “energizing body” in the dermis, controls the production of collagen and elastin. Vitamin C helps to give the “triggering” effect for the Mitochondria to give the command to produce more collagen.

Ascorbyl Phosphate– Ascorbyl phosphate is a fat-soluble derivative of vitamin C. It is nonirritating and more stable than plain ascorbic acid. Furthermore, ascorbyl phosphate is an antioxidant and is at least as effective as vitamin E in protecting the skin from lipid peroxidation (a key type of free radical damage in the skin). Hyaluronic Acid– High concentration in this formula. An excellent humectant and emollient moisturizer. This ingredient is known for its hydrating and soothing properties. Panthenol– Vitamin B5, known for its hydrating properties.
